The Bad Part Of Indonesia Part 1

Let me introduce myself. My name is Rayasyah, i'm a student who was born in Indonesia, which is one of the third world country. I will tell you how does it feels to live in third world country. This is just my experience, other people's experience who lives in third world country may vary. I don't want to live here and i wish i wasn't born here. If i can choose where should i born, i would choose somewhere in Europe like Russia, Germany, and United Kingdom. You guys should be grateful you weren't born in Third World Country. Well at least i wasn't born in North Korea or Timor Timur, no offense for those who live there.

According to Wikipedia, Indonesia is a sovereign transcontinental country located mainly in Southeast Asia with some territories in Oceania. Situated between the Indian and Pacific oceans, it is the world's largest island country, with more than thirteen thousand islands. It has an estimated population of over 260 million people (September 2016) and is the world's fourth most populous country, the most populous Austronesian nation, as well as the most populous Muslim-majority country. The world's most populous island of Java contains more than half of the country's population.

Movies

Start from the common thing, watching movies. When i watch movies which are using english language i need to read subtitles so i need to really really focus to the movie. Americans only do two things when they watch movie, which are see and hear while i as Indonesian need to do three things, see, read, and hear. See, that's not fair because all movies in the cinema is not dubbed. Fortunately, i understand englih very well so i think this is not a big problem for me and also i dont watch movies so often but its a big problem for those who loves to watch movies but dont understand english. Local movies in Indonesia has bad quality and the producer is not creative because they copy movie covers from others. The special effect and CGI is totally painful to watch, i would rather be blind than watch indonesian movies (The bad one not the good one). Indonesia also has good movies like The Raid, The Raid 2, Comic 8, Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? And so on. Season

Next, the season. There are only two seasons in Indonesia, Summer and rainy season. There are no winter, fall, and spring. I always want to feel winter, i sometimes wonder how's the snow feels like. It must be so great to have 4 seasons, right? I envy them so much. At least the weather here is not as extreme as USA. The average temperature in Indonesia is 30 to 35 celcius on the summer while its 20 to 25 celcius on the rainy season. The summer in Indonesia is not as hot as summer in USA and the rainy season is not as cold as rainy or winter season in USA. When its rainy season, my city is easily flooded because peoples love to litter so much and my Mayor do nothing about it. He absolutely dooesn't care about my city.

Peoples

Like i said before, the peoples in Indonesia love to litter. Instead putting the trash in trash bin, they throw the trash everywhere, like street, river, beach, and sea. And guess what? They don't get any punishment. They dont care about environment. The irony is they blame government when flood comes. which is actually caused by the trash that they throw. They also park in no parking zone without getting any punishment. They spit everywhere too, what a gross thing.

Corrupt Government

I know that there is no such thing as honest government. Nowadays corruption is a normal thing that most of government do. The majority of my government religions are muslim but their god is money.

Since Soekarno become the president of Indonesia, the debt of my country was only 6,3 Billion USD and 4 Billion of the debt was actually netherlands' debt. In 1965, Soeharto attempted to be a president by using military coup and in 1967 he was a president. When he was a president, the debt went extremely high, 67,328 Billion USD or RP 673,28 Trillion. He was a bad president but there was one more president who was much much worse than him. His name is Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, he is the sixth president. The debt went to RP2.631,81 Trillion. That is a ton of money, what the hell indonesians, why did you vote for him? Indonesians are so easily bribed, presidential candidate just need to pay 4 USD to get one vote. If you get ticketed by indonesian police, the only way to get out is by bribe the police. The cost of the bribe is depends on which city do you get ticket. For my city, if you are a motorcycle driver, you need to bribe them for RP50.000 or 3.83 USD and if you are a car driver you need to bribe them for RP200.000 or 15.32 USD.

Religions

As you can see above, The majority of Indonesia is Muslim. BUT that doesn't mean Indonesia is an islamic country, i dont want my country to be Arab-ish. Muslims in Indonesia are fanatic and they are arrogant, they think that non muslim must not be a mayor, minister, president, and so on. There is one group called Front Pembela Islam or Islamic Defenders Front, its a radical religious organization group in Indonesia, notorious for hate crimes and violence in the name of Islam. They are an example of arrogant muslims. They want Jakarta Governor to be kicked because he is a chinese and not a muslim, that is racist as fuck.

Freedom of religion in Indonesia is a bullshit. I was born and foced to be a muslim but i actually don't want to be a muslim. If i convert to be a christian or atheist i will get kicked from my house by my parents. My parents are brainwashed by Islam, they are too islamic. I'm being a muslim just because i don't want to dissapoint my parents, i don't trust any god.
